Encaged by the passing of time i can't fight
I pick up their pen and begin to write
I get inspiration from the silence around
In my office, pages of poetry abound
Words spill onto paper instantly
Sometimes poetry overlapping 1, 2 and 3
My imagination should be my only crime
But the problem is, i'm using company time
Because the pen and paper i did not buy
Does that mean my expression i should deny!?
They can hire me, fire me, or soon retire me
But the truth of the matter is
It makes it easier to think
