The trees were there but not
in the way!. The view had it’s own
crescendo, it galloped towards
the purple night swell, and the stolid oaks
funneled a glazed eye to the eventual!.
My moon, and summer
night air mingling,
facing a long gone
memory

they appear in my walk and if
you listen, in my talk
the white hair on my head
shows a life well lead
the lines in my face
leave no secrets, not a trace
and my eyes, if you lock on
and see beyond

You know, the natives in your parts used to not bury their dead!. They would be carried up (or climb up with the last of their strength) a tree and then would be lashed to a high branch!. Their scents could be remembered for a long time!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I keep them at my grandma's house in an aged and rutted box sitting in her china cabinet where all the family treasures are stored, even though my grandmother and her home have been gone from this earth for many many years!. Grandma's house was, and still is,!.!.!. my haven!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Memories, memories, aye there are but two!.

The bad that once did lurk within my mind, Playing!.!.!.!.!. playing always playing,
has long been slain and buried deep within the depths of the swamp, all wrapped up with twine, in the place they once did call my crazy!.!.!.!. crazy mind!.

I wrap them up in pretty little boxes (cause I'm a girl) and keep them tucked neatly away!. I bring them out every once in a while, sometimes with a tear but mostly with a smile!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Love the poem Buk! I keep my memories close to my heart in what I think of as an invisible memory box!. I store up loads of good memories so that on those days when the bad memories try to intrude upon my thinking, I just pull out the good ones and it refreshes me once again!.
