Question: Any suggestions, critique, or comments!?
Cotton fibered armor,
thickly draped upon me,
hoping to hide imperfections
laying there beneath!.
Metal frames highlight
yet another flaw!.!.!.
just one more protecting layer
over the windows to my soul!.
Even stripped bare
of all the things above,
I find immaterial objects
to stand and lurk behind!.!.!.
A grin to block my hurt,
a tear to conceal my joy!.
A lie to cover up
the emotions laying inside!.
But open up this cover,
read the words between the lines!.!.!.
only then will you find yourself
