I'm always writing poems, and they come out pretty well!. I keep them in a notebook and its not to hard to think of something to write down BUT, I've been assigned to do a Cinquain Poem for homework and I can't think of anything!. The thought that someone other than me is going to read my poem(s) keeps all my ideas locked away somewhere in my head and I can't access them!. Looking through my notebook, none of my poems match the assignment!. So, I'm asking, can somebody help me write a Cinquian Poem!? Im unsure about the topic, but I'm thinking about writing something about the color yellow!.
My teacher wants the poem to have 2 syllables in the first line, 4 in the second, 6 in the third, eight in the 4th and 2 in the fifth!.
Line 1: What the poem is about
Line 2: describe the subject
Line 3: describe something the subject does
Line 4: describing the subject further
Line 5: rename what the poem
Im thinking about starting it off with 'yellow', and ending it with 'the sun'!. ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com
