SONG ENSNARING SIREN part IV

The priestess prayed
both night and day
for someone to steal
Witch Eva's heart,
or else into the darkness,
she surely would depart!.

But those eyes
remained so frigid,
rigid soul and blazing power,
a combination
to devour
the flower she could be
before it bloomed!.
-----
Eva ranged amongst the forest,
allowing her thoughts
into shadows;
sweeping wind and breaking willows!.
Combustion!. Destruction!.
Rage found its conduit,
Eva burned her conscience,
the wage of bitterness!.
-----
The priest paced
back and forth,
crucifix caught,
mind with horror fraught!.
He had seen her,
the child of his abuse,
no excuse,
the parish would wonder;
his name surely sunder!.

She must die,
his daughter,
conceived in forniction,
no supplication to heaven
would save him!.
He would find
a scapegoat to rinse away
his haunting sins!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

She watched the book unfold
to pages not her own
but he story spoke
and she awake
her heart pounding with pleasure
Then she looked again
and saw the Sirens Stone
the dark behind her eyes
because she was the evil
she had most hated
Eva would never know
the prophesy of priestess making
When The story is over
who will be redeemed

Not those among the dead!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
