Sobriety is a slow ride
Along the same path where you fell down drunk
There is no “I” in inebriated…wait, there are two
Intoxicated, damn…
I know I will find a word
That justifies blotted jocularity
I, and the time, were wasted at the time…time!?
I can hardly be blamed for that!.

I think your poem complements its subject very well which it is most probably meant to do, and feel you have carried it off very well in deed!. Certainly it is not bad POEM on the contrary it is a very good poem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Staring pie eyed at the mirror,
Staring pie eyed back at me!.
Who would think I'd drink so much,
That my face I could not see!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
