Lost I, in lonely coexistence,
Seek I, most pathetic path,
Admire I, the souls released,
Churn I, emotion's wave,
Burn I, scarcely remnant fervor,
Hide I, in ardent discomfiture,
Love I, petty fancy,
Roughly numbed to callousness!.
Live I, soul bereft,
Routed nil, burdened burden's end!.

Devoid find I reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would be averse
To a world without verse!.
It wouldn't be home
If it had not a poem!.
I'd say doggonit
There's no song or sonnet,
No twin or quintuplet
To write me a couplet
It would be swell, Oh gee!
If I heard an elegy!.
But I don't have an urge
To pen a sad dirge!.
Just one more time!.
Let it rhyme, let it rhyme!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A world
without poetry
a world,
would not be,
like a song
is nothing
without words,
but a melody!.

There exists
a world
without poetry!.
We carve out
a place for it,
and line it
with stones,
engraved with names!.
A world
without poetry
is a graveyard
of the soul!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
