I’ve been waiting a
while now
to say thanks,
thanks a lot
I’ve done okay and today
I thought I’d say so, but
there’s still this fire
that smolders underneath
where the dogs of
depression lick
their filthy
jowls
and wait, but
thanks anyway!.
Mostly, I’m happy when
I stop on a thought and
get a chance to see it
before I
kill it
but I still smell
the fires, they
have this way of burning out
the senses and
when you can’t see
hear smell feel
a thank you is
a far gone

Amazing as usual Buk !.!.!. and I "thank you" for making me think!. It isn't always a beautiful thought and at times so deep it hurts my head !.!.!. but I thank you none the less because if we can't be grateful for both the good and the bad !.!.!. how do we really know the difference!?!? Yeah!. Wow that is a two edged sword and very insightful!. For me at one level a song comes to mind about a younger generation, a younger man who realizes it was too late to tell his father thanks!.
