Question: Will you take hold of the now with me!?
FOR THE NOW
This is the time,
the ultimate dance,
the intrinsic trance
of breath!.
This is the moment,
capture it,
own it,
give it the meaning it's meant!.
Pray for the fallen,
pray for the righteous,
with white clothing,
dirty inside!.
Know that you're sacred,
fear that you're holy,
live for the love that's
defied!.
Take hold of minutes,
cling fast to hours,
let hearbeats not keep
the time!.
Stay focused on living,
stay focused on loving,
interpreting life's cryptic
rhyme!.
Hold to the fleeting
tide, the receding
time that we're given
and love

This is such a beautiful reminder of what is really important about life!. Although it might be considered trite in the poetic world, in the actual psyche this is a message that an never be repeated too much!. This is a beautiful glimpse of that heart of yours that wants to take on life, and, my favorite lines "live for the love that's/defied!." That in itself is a beautiful sentiment!. I like the poem; However, I think you should work on the ending!. For some reason (to me) it seems a little incomplete!. I don't know if you should add a line or remove a line!. I just feel that you should work a little more on the ending!.
