Spanish:http://www.poemas-del-alma.com/jose-goro... I really just need to know the message or meaning of this poem well i'm not a "poem expert" and i can't really find the message or meaning sorry but i can help you out in finding the meaning (btw that's not a good translation to read) ok so he's talking about how the seashore is neither water nor sand it's just these two different things that meet and/but aren't together he says that nice, simple, discreet things come together like edges and lips can meet in a kiss but then says that he sees himself as dead, alone, and desolate like a desert i.e. no water then i don't get what he's saying in "A mí venga el lloro, pues debo penar" something like he will cry and he should repent so it's like he's comparing and contrasting himself to the seashore it's different from him because the seashore is like these things coming together to form something, where he is alone and desolate it's similar to him because the seashore is neither of the things that make it up and so it's like it's nothing, like he is alone and desolate hope i helped |
