Question:Take my life away

Take my life away, This is what I pray
And if you don't, I will find a way
Take this pain away, I feel it everyday
And if you don't, I will find a way
So take my life away, Don't delay
Make everything ok, Just take my life away

Great technique and sad and tragic. I just hope it is a metaphor and not how you are really feeling because if this is albeit a beautiful piece of work I would hate to think your thoughts and true feelings are being expressed in this piece of work because it sounds tragic to the reader that the writer is expressing these feelings only because it appears the writer is struggling with suicide, death, and depression. It is hard to tell though because good poets can channel these into poetry and it can be merely a harmless expression. In either case you are very gifted.

It's good, I like the repitition!

poems are ....... I don't know

Very sad....and depressing. Please see a doctor soon, or walk into a church and talk to the minister. There are many medications to help you feel differently, if you will see a doctor.
I'm so sorry you feel this way. I will pray for your recovery, and hope many others will too.....God loves you, and Jesus loves you, and I love you, just because I read this cry for help from you, and I'm sure many people love you, if you will give them a chance.

God put you here on Earth for a reason. You just haven't found it yet. May God wrap his loving arms around you, and lift you out of this dark, gloomy place....soon.....

I have added you to my contacts.

what can i say ,if u cant value yourself in a way,i been where u are today,i lived and still breathe till today ,so guess what ask for one more day

your poem is beautiful. and, pain is something we all have to go through in life. some, more than others. but, to overcome that pain, that is the hardest thing to do. and, killing yourself proves giving up to death. death has won. the true act of bravery is to overcome those temptations. it is hard, i know. life throws terrible things at us, as if testing our wits, our courage, our life. but, the answer to pain is not death. i have been through plenty of pain in my life, and, i haven't turned twenty yet. but, what I've already learned is that life is too precious to give up simply for peace. you have a purpose in this world. whether it be a huge or small. it doesn't matter, you still have the responsibility to others. and, that is the truest act of bravery i know.

You have a poet's heart and a songwriter's ear. Think about what you could create, what you could give, if you stayed in the world where so many people need what you can offer. I understand about the pain, but if you can hang on, the pain will pass. And the pain will have taught you have you need to know to help other people through theirs. You will look back and be glad you stayed in the world.

Very sad. Just conceptualise through poems. Purge with art. That's all. You're far too valuable to be writing the sort of material that makes you feel you have to follow through.
Or to be more logical about it, I'll paraphrase William Burroughs: It never improved anyone's position.
