Question:Trial By Fire
By Semper Fi Reborn

Will I be scorched?
Crumble to ash and blow away in the wind
Scattered to and fro
Particles of chaos
Fragments of agony
Like a million cells without a body?

Will I weep for mercy
From the depths of an inferno?
Bite my lip in the face of truth?
Attempt to flee from His gaze
Cover the nakedness of my sins
With the tattered material of my soul?

Will I hold steadfast to His Word?
Bear witness for Him
Glorify Him
Obey Him with my first fruits
My tithes and offerings
Will they be sweet and joyous?
Will I turn from my sins
Receive His Mercy
His Love
His Heart?
Will I walk before His Throne
Like a jewel tried by fire?

1st. Peter 1:6,7

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now, for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations : That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be TRIED WITH FIRE, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Malachi 3: 2,3
But who may abide the day of His coming ? and who shall stand when He appeareth ? For He is like a refiners FIRE and like fullers soap : And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver : and he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Bless Ya !
