NEW POEM (One Year Later) Please Tell Me What YOU THINK?!?!?!?

Question:those of you who know me know that i write poems a lot. i dont know if any of you know, but today is the first time that i talked to my brother for the first time in one year. i dont know what is going to come of it, but heres how i feel!! TELL ME WHAT U THINK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

“One Year Later”

One year later and here you are again.
Should I let it all go; or stay strained?
It has been so long ago, but like it was just here.
When I talked to you, I couldn’t even shed a tear.

I didn’t know what to say, I just went with my heart.
Everything I had in mind erased, so I went from the start.
When you picked up the phone for the first time I was in shock.
It was like I was being suffocated, not able to talk.

Gathering my thoughts, I rummaged something quick.
Just as I was about to hang up the phone, something clicked.
I told you how I was lately, and how sorry I have been.
When you agreed with me, my head started to spin.

I know it will take a long time to get like it was before.
Family will always return, just like the ocean’s shore.
I had my doubts that anything would ever come to this.
With my faith in God, the chance of you to come home exists.

I don’t know what I would do if you left me once again in the dust.
The only way I will find out if you will be here in the end is trust.
You are my brother, and it is time to come home now.
We will figure this out with the faith of god, although I don’t know how.
