Question: What is your personal definition of freedom!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Freedom is dictated largely by oneself I think!. For me its about being able to be fully self expressed in body, voice, thought and action!.

Its not about living with no schedule or responsibilities!.

Freedom I believe is often constrained by self imposed barriers which we create as we experience life!. We make decisions about ourselves and how to act!.

Greater freedom can be achieved through challenging these self imposed barriers and breaking through them to be more self expressed!.

Can make a better dancer, singer, artist, educator or business person etc

Hope this helpsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Embedded within limiting conditions, freedom seeks to liberate itself from these conditions!. Biologically, one adapts to environmental conditions or dies!. Sociologically, one works to do no harm, unseat evil with good, and injustice with justice!. Psychologically, one wrestles with oppressive demons or surrenders!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Freedom, true freedom is never to be found in modern times unless you happen to be born on a little known island that no-one bothers with, here you could be as free as a wild bird doing whatever pleased your innocent mind!.
However, we do live in a democracy and under rules that we allow to be en-placed by elected authority!.
If we dislike the rules then only a majority can alter them, if said majority impact enough pressure to be sure to apply a just society!.
This opens up a whole can of worms, things like do we allow lobbyists to override OUR system to meet their own gains, I could go on but there are so many cans on ALL shelves that I could be here for many weeks!.
I will however say if you want change then make your feelings known to the rule makers then you will have freedom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"I am William Wallace!. And I see a whole army of my countrymen,
here in defiance of tyranny! You have come to fight as free men!. And
free man you are! What will you do without freedom!? Will you fight!?"
"Two thousand against ten!?" - the veteran shouted!. "No! We will
run - and live!"
"Yes!" Wallace shouted back!. "Fight and you may die!. Run and you
will live at least awhile!. And dying in your bed many years from now,
would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for
one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell
our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take
our freedom!"Www@QuestionHome@Com

We are free, and we f#@ked it up!. Problem is, some wanker always wants more than their own freedom!.

Too many people want power!. We can't be free without someone to put rules down, such as "thou must not impair others freedom"

freedom could only exist in isolation!.!.!. or in heaven!. where else!? It's a bit of a paradox!.
