Feel the warmth of the cup, the look of the coffee, the taste and aroma!.
Realize you are a spiritual being having a human experience!. Look around you and know that all the people in the room are spiritual gods-in-training, just like you, even if they don't know about it yet!. Send them blessing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Enlightenment can happen anywhere, it is an experience, seeing the universe in a different way than before!.
One may say to oneself, "here I am drinking coffee in a cafeteria", and realize it in a different way!. Not that he is a thing, doing a verb; drinking, but he is a process called "drinking coffee in a cafeteria"!. All the parts necessary, the perceiver of the event, the event itself; which is a whole system: of person drinking, coffee flowing from one container to another, and an environment!. No part of the coffee drinking system can exist without the rest, it forms a whole, operating only in the moment, which is an eternal moment!. It is an eternal moment, not because nothing changes, on the contrary, there is, in the moment, a continuous flow!. Even the person drinking is not a thing, but a continuous flow like a candle flame!.
The person in question, thus moved into the awareness (which corresponds to a scientific decription better than conventional awareness) of the universe as an integrated whole, happening only in the moment of now, with all name-forms transcended, (being only patterns in the larger total pattern, real only in thought), would opon the realization; that he would not exist, as a perciever of this unified field process, without the process itself!. He only exists by implication of the processs, and is not something available to direct observation, therefore is one with the process!.
At that moment he realizes the double meaning of "here I am having a cup of coffee in a cafeteria", and achieves enlightenment!.
The hope is that he will not try and seize the moment, since the moment is a flow, and he will loose what he has gained by grasping!.
It may not matter if enlightenment happens or not, since in the end, we are all headed for Dhoom 2!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is the serenity and simplicity of the table, providing a sort of sensory deprivation which clears your mind from all that barrage of sensory input which normally distracts our focus!. Meanwhile, you are hyper-caffeinating yourself which results in an altered state of consciousness!. Another simultaneity is that you are able to observe the idle passings-by of human life without the disruptive effect of having to interact with it!.

In short, it frees your thoughts from excessive levels of sensory input, chemically alters it, and forces you to change your perspective in a relaxing venue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
