It is a warning against acting impulsively when angry!.!.!. think about a time when you were angry, I know I usually get fired up and I want to say the most cutting things because I'm so furious and quite often I've done this!.!.!. in particular with emails and things like that, which are the worst because people then have a record and it's hard to take that back!.

If you delay, wait until you've thought things through and cooled off, quite often, you're already over it but if not, you at least have had time to put it into perspective and present yourself rationally which could save a love, a friendship, a job, etc!Www@QuestionHome@Com

have you ever seen someone, out of anger, hit someone else!?
well, this doesn't solve their anger!. they may feel less angry, but that doesn't really make them less angry!. as soon as their adrenaline stops pumping, they will be angry again!. if this person just thought it through and gave it time, they really would be less angry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

this is so true!. as when you are angry you will try to hasten things and get to the first answer to any thing you can conceive!. if you are angry you are just acting to quick!. when you introduce delay like the counting from 100-1 you slow your mind into a proper state and allow your self to think about proper decisions!.

i think it means that if we just give us some time to calm down we will not be so angry!. sometimes we need the time to really think about why we are angry!. are we really angry at ourselves and taking it out on someone and really if we are blowing the whole thing out of proportion or not!. most people calm down with time!. other people the time just gives them time to rile themselves up more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
