For example: i like blue a lot and blue is quite a calm and sensible colour in my opinion, which i am to a certain degree!. I also like purple (my 2nd favourite), and where it has many shades to it, kinda mysterious and deep, that also seems to describe me too!.

Yes, It may possibly reflect one's current personality and even deeper reflection to an individual's thoughts, emotions and behavior!. It was also known as being used to determine one's individuality (information) and present state of mind in Psychology related subjects!. The concept that lies in colors and various shades may inform a person's kind of feelings too in broader aspects (esp!. by prof!.)!.

Colors may affect the moods of an individual!. Usually the one's (shades) we are drawn upon to balances our energy flow naturally and soothing to ourselves!.!.That is why color theraphy became so popular too to mostly!.

i used to love blue and i was a calm person
then i loved red and i was an angrier person
then i loved purple and i was a deep person
then i loved yellow and i was a very happy person
then i loved black and i was a sad and slightly depressed person
now i love green and i am a tranquil and more peaceful person

Interesting, my favorite color is pink!. I am not sure what it means if you like the color pink, so I don't know if it is relevant to my life or not!. I do find it interesting that my husband and I like cabbage roses in decorating!. We can be looking in separate books and choose the same patterns!. Red used to be my fav color all these years!. i did not like yellow , green at all!. And yes i did need to be better at anger management :)!. i am energetic and the leaders sort!.

I think we choose favorite colors because those colors relate to ourselves!. I don't think our favorite color determines our personality!.

Some Japanese found that by showing selected colors, it can change our mood!.

Red - emotion or recklessness
Yellow - positive thinking
Green - double positive thinking
White - Openness
Black - Judgement
Blue - tranquility
