I've noticed that it took me a little over an hour to write a 1,500 word document, about a personal experience, however it take me literally all day to do the same for a English assignment, LOL!. So just wondering what you think, if you think otherwise feel free to express your opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I definitely agree that it is easier to write from the heart than to have to think up or research something to write about!. You know what you know ;-) When I write about stuff that I know or feel it just seems to flow out of me!. Gathering information takes a bit of time!. Whenever I have had an assignment it was easier for me to make myself well informed about the subject then just tell about what I learned, citing references, of course!. That way I'm writing about something I know!. Still!.!.!.!.heart writing is easiest and not nearly as tiring! When you're given the opportunity to express yourself through your own experiences, ideas, and emotions, writing comes naturally!. When you're answering something from the mind, it may sometimes be that what you're answering isn't all that interesting/may not pertain to you!. There are other things that may have to do with it, too, like how everyone wants their story heard, and everyone is a little wrapped up in themselves!. Small psychological things like that!. When you're filled with passion about the subject, you find it more difficult to find an ending than to continue on!. It is easy to write on and on and on!.!.!.!.!. Well, you don't actually know!.!.!. it just comes to you as you go!. The flow is better!. Writing from the mind actually requires you to think about what you're going to say!. I think it has something to do with the current capacity of the writer's passion!. When you write from the heart, there is no rules and you can write it any way you like!. When you write from the mind, you keep thinking of staying within the subject and hoping it will sound good!. The mind is always involved, but your heart gives you direction and a value system and emotion to work from!.
