Position:Home>Philosophy> What would you do? Hidden camera scenario...?

Question: What would you do!? Hidden camera scenario!.!.!.!?
Okay, you've volunteer to do a research study on behavioral expression!. You don't really understand the whole concept of the study but you are willing to give it a try!.

They place you in this white room, with five objects to express your feelings and told you that there is a hidden camera somewhere but you are not to know its location!. You are to stay in the room for 24hours with three other volunteers!. Surprisingly, you know these three! By the end of the 24 hours, you are to give them each an object to express your feelings of them!. Note: you cannot give the same emotion to more than one person and the three volunteers will not know what expression you have given them!.

Five objects:
(1) a key= trust
(2) heart= adore/love
(3) coal= disappointment
(4) water bottle= neutral
(5) a red handkerchief= dislike/mad/etc!.

The three volunteers:
(1) your mom/dad
(2) your best friend (boy or girl)
(3) your worst enemy

now I know #3 is obvious, but you'll be spending 24hrs with this person and let's just say this person ask for your forgiveness!.!.!.!. will your decision still be the same!?

Please add why to your decision!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hello!. For my mom and dad, the answer will apply to both, I would give them the heart!. Because no matter what was to happen in those 24 hours, they couldn't change how I would feel!.
For my best friend, I would give him the key!. He has my trust and my friendship!. There aren't many things we honestly wouldn't do to help the other and I can think of nothing he would do in that room to change who he really is and to negate our friendship!.
For my worst enemy, I would give him the coal!. I am willing to accept the possibility that he would've changed over the years since I've seen him!. But even if he were to apologize, to everyone or just myself, I would still retain disappointment in his past actions and mannerisms!.
But if I may, #3 isn't so obvious!. For both the reason you have stated and if despite being your enemy you could manage to trust or even care about this person!. It truly depends on what an enemy is!. Is is someone who both you and other people dislike, to a large extent, respectively!? Or is it someone that you are just begging for 5 minutes alone with them and a baseball bat!? Though I don't consider it that I make many enemies and of the one stated above the feeling wasn't just me, I would hope that if all you have left is an enemy in your life that you can remember that your all they have left too!. So for any enemy to be intolerable could turn out more difficult than it seems!.

I applaude your amazing question and depth of thought!. I'm truly grateful to have come across this specific one and I thank you!. Good bye!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
