Hello!. Aside from the "earworm", which is an excellent answer, it would require a great deal of sacrifices along with it simply out of general sense!. By this I mean that if you were to remove that specific ability or part of your brain it would also probably take out a great deal of other things you might miss!. For example, the ability for you to be able to remember that song and the ability to remember listening to it, the notes, the changes, the beats, the lyrics, and the subtle changes in tempo!. Many of those things take place in different parts of the brain!. Some in memory recognition and others in the kind of "acoustical playback" your mind is able to perform!. But if you were to remove this ability you might have to altogether lose the ability to recall sounds and certain events!. However minute this circumstance appears it is actually linked to some of the most important parts of our lives!. But I do suppose that certain techniques would suffice to remove these abilities and that specific part!.
But those DANG EARWORMS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!! Good bye!.

You could play another song to override the other one!. I learn this from necessity!. I have a three year old that plays Cinderella and the Nutcracker all day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I suspect there is no single part of the brain responsible for this phenomenon!. Attempting to correct it would likely cause way more damage than it would be worth, even if we had any idea how to do it in the first place!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If we play some Flamenco music to it before the anesthetics knock you out, would it bounce off the operating table before they soak it in formaldehyde!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
