Similar question, almost of ethics, to the answer for what you would do if an animal crosses the road in front of you!.!.!.swerve and miss it, risking an accident, or drive right into it!?
Do you mean who would be more important in terms of living and dying!? I'd say neitheris of more value than the other!. Saving everyone and everything would have been ideal, but some good geese died, I know there are many, but think of it!.!. it's almost like 9/11 for the goose flock, in the way that they are the citizens, the plane was terrorists, the situation in itself makes me feel strangely awkward!. You can't help but imagine the geese being shredded by the engines lol :( So my answer simply is that to choose one group of individuals over another is immoral, neither is more important, both don't deserve to die unless they are purely evil!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Humans have always valued their lives over animals!. Thats why we use animals in our research to advance our own lives!. You dont see animals doing any human research!.!.!.!.

In this case of the airplane, it was not a vicious thing that humans did to intentially murder the geese!. It was an accident!. I'm sorry the geese died but I'm glad no humans died!. If it was a flock of humans who flew in front of the plane accidentally, the same loss of life would have occured!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

HUH!?
i think the geese in question are dead now!.
or were you thinking that we ought to kill all the geese in the world so that planes won't run into them!?
or we shouldn't fly planes!?
or we need to not fly planes when there are any geese around at all!?
or that the pilot should have done something differently!?

if i had to guess, he probably didn't have much warning!.
seems to have been pretty smart, and, given the choice, might well have avoided them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't Geese eat PETA's precious "sea-kittens!?" Maybe we were sending a message to the animal kingdom that when we decide to stop massacring the sea-kittens, they had better stop, too!. The delicate balance of nature is at stake here!. The salinity of the Northern Atlantic waters is critical to the survival of life on earth!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well us humans think we are the most important thing in the world and pretty much say screw you to animals and the enviroment!. I personally think us humans inflate our value way too much and say well it was just a cat or just some geese but I don't think we are as important as we make ourselves out to be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

where are animal rights activist on news channel regarding this issue!?

but in certain parts of Africa!.!.!.it seems animal life is valued more than human!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I feel very bad for the geese who suffered and died!. But having said that, I'll now say this; if it was your life or the life of your sister or wife on that plane, you wouldn't ask this question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. Is your life more important than a bird!? It was a singular, unfortunate incident and I'm glad everything worked out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Man may consider himself the master of the skies despite his lack of wings, but sometimes he gets reminders that he is out of his element and nature has rules too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Are you saying we shouldn't fly planes!?!?!?
I value all life on this planet, but I don't think we could've done anything to help the geese, and I am happy all the people lived!.
Accidents happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Neither are "more important" than the other!. I don't see what your getting at though!. The geese died, the people lived!. Simple as that, really!. :/Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on whether or not you are a goose!.

I don't think that one dead goose cares about one living human being!.
