How about someone who has survived suicide, with a near-death experience!?
I can only tell you that one has to be totally desperate to take their own life!. Desperate people do desperate things!.
Just because one attempts this final action, does not mean they will always succeed!. If it is not their time to go, they will not go on, period!.
Having experienced this first-hand, it has turned my life around; 360*!
I know I am here for God's purpose!. I am extremely tenacious in all that I do to serve the Lord!. If one can truly make a difference in this world, I am determined to do so!. It is my destiny and I do it with all the love and joy provided me by the Lord God!. :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

No, In fact I think people who commit suicide are usually missing something that everyone else knows!.

They usually do it because they think they have no other choice!. They often don't see the pain they will cause others, or other doors that are open to them!.

So no, I think everyone knows something that they don't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am not so sure about that but I do understand the despair , depression , deep sadness and profound sense of loss of the self being strips away their will for life!.

In the eye of the committer , life is truly and only saturnian , dampened and dreary!. So I think they know life in a deeper ( and ultimately utmost negative and saddened aspect) way than most of us who refuse and somewhat wary to look deep into these aspects of life!.

I think if we are to wholeheartedly believe in spirituality , those who commit suicide would be able to see what happens to them after life in a different fashion than those who passed away in other ways!.

But I think that for those whose life is gonna be taken away voluntarily , they wont be able to " see " or " know " any spiritual experiences!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not really, but thinking about it could be an act of wisdom!.

Max Weber said:

"For those who contemplate suicide, life is beautiful"

I take that to mean that once you have contemplated suicide and decided against it, then and only then is your life intentional and not just some cosmic accident!. You have searched for and found a reason to live on your own terms and for your own reasons - and that is powerful, and perhaps even beautiful!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that World Shaking is on to something, especially regarding the spiritual aspect of this argument!. I’ve often pondered about the “knowing” of a suicidal person!. I sense that they are transformed on many levels from the intense experience of pain or despair!.

A shift takes places in their emotional, spiritual, psychological consciousness!. They are in a way looking at existence thru a unique perspective!. The new consciousness allows them to grasp the meaning btwn the lines of life and death or life after physical death!. Spirits survive, consciousness lives on!. Life continues in a different form!.

Awareness is multihued and living is defined by perception!. I wonder if they truly come to a higher enlightenment regarding time and existence!. It paints a vision of authentic freedom or the ultimate escape!. One can only wonder…

Thanks for this question, it is very intriguing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yea!. what they know that most of us don't know is that they wont go to hell for doing that!. I'm not trying to be funny!. I thought about this question before I answered it!. I'm just trying to say that from the animal world even to the insect world every living thing tries to survive and struggles to keep alive and healthy!. For a human being to be on top of the food chain from everything on earth to just end it all for their biological being is saying that their degrading their creator's(which is god) will to have them here on earth and a slap in their creature's face!. I don't care what religion you belong to or even if the person believes in GOD of not!. That is just wrong and selfish for the people that love you or would miss you!. Honestly!. Think about it!. Good luck!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

For those whom having a hard time in life unhappy may think we know something because the way they perceived or received a message but in reality we do not know unless they ask for help in many occasions where it being ignored, but i would say anyone who may have suicidal ideation it's best to ask for help, help is outhere so don't give up!. If you know someone in needs please listen and refere that person to some professional for ressources!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Suicide is the single most selfish act one can commit!.
Those who commit suicide have cut short their lives which means they do not get to fulfill their true purpose in life and therefore are bound to return for another lifetime!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and lets face it, no one wants to do that!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just want to know why "People" and "Suicide" are capitalized!. Is there a secret meaning to it!? Does it stand for something, like P!.S!.!? Am I thinking too hard!? Whoa!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Quite the opposite!.
They don't know what we know!. Otherwise they would never have committed themselves to suicide!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Who knows!? Life is completely subjective, and therefore you can assume, so is death!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes ,despair!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe just to see what happensWww@QuestionHome@Com

yeah, they know that they hate their lives!.!.!.(stupid question) how would we know, we didnt kill ourselvesWww@QuestionHome@Com

No, I don't think they know any more than the rest of us, but what they do believe is that there is no hope for happiness in this life!. Perhaps it is not what overrides the instinct for survival but that the survival instinct is lacking in the basic nature of the individual!. For some who suicide for reasons like euthanasia, (eg!. a terminal illness and care is a burden to the family), I think it takes courage and a strong character which bases the decision on logical, commonsense thinking - has nothing to do with knowing, not knowing, survival!.!.!.!.!.!.

Exception to the above thoughts would be a psychotic episode in an individual in which hallucinations push the person to suicide!. In those situations, yes, they do know something others do not, but it is not based on reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
