Question: Q!. about God and animals!?

you'll say its nature, and not cruel ("evil"), but why did God create animals so we could eat them!. most people are not vegetarians!. animals have emotions; they love being loved, they always respond to love and tenderness!. i see it every day, and i only have a little bunny!.

(my point; God may not be that gentle/compassionate!. i asked this question because i wanted to discuss the basics, and what God is responsible for, and does not always include our free will - consider the eskimos, for instance!.)

we're not just matter!. If we are, then what would be our difference from those without life!?
Actually, I believe we are not this body, and so, we are the living entity in this body!. And this living entity transmigrates from one species to another according to his actions!.

Humans are animals, BUT, with choice and are supposed to have principles and intelligence or curiosity to ponder about matters like these!. If not, then he is no better than a two-legged animal!.

Humans have power to choose!. We can choose what to eat!. See, we both have canines and molars!. Animals weren't created so that we could just eat them!. If the reason is for survival, well, vegetarian stuffs are abundant! People should only eat animals when they don't have any other to eat!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well initially we were made to be "workers of the fields", meaning that we weren't made to eat animals/kill animals!. It wasn't until sin entered the world that we began slaughtering animals and finding that they were good to eat!. Now I'm no vegetarian (not by a long shot) so don't get the wrong idea, but if you read carefully through the first few chapters of Genesis (I recommend an NIV Study Bible W/ Footnotes) or even get a commentary on Genesis, you'll find your answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
