Question: On being Ourselves "If we could dress and talk the way we really want too"!?

Do you think most ppl would do it, or they wouldn't feel right cause they don't have no one to mimic or telling them how to dress, talk, look, and most important how to think!.

This is not for the ones that live their life the way they want too now, cause obviously you are already consider weird by "the insecure norm" but still want to hear your input!.

Ive been called weird most of my life for thinking the way I do!. being different I embrace it, but somehow it makes me think do ppl secretly wish they can say what they feel (or dress) without being sentimental or thinking what someone else will think!.

basically, Im asking why some ppl not comfortable in their own skin and criticize you(being comfortable) for doing so!?!?

ppl even let other ppl control their feeling on life!.

I think everyone should do it anyway!

Life is too short to worry about what other people think about you so much, and not to be who you really want to be or look how you really want to look or act how you really want to act!

People are scared though, because we are so judgemental!. You look at a punk or a goth and think 'Oh they are scary' and you look at a Plastic/Barbie and think 'Oh she is a bimbo/slut' and it is so wrong!!

I know it is natural to judge but people need to be more chill and just live life!

I get people stare at me for the way I dress or look but I am used to it now you just have to get over it!

In a perfect world we could all express ourselves through our image without being judged!. I admire people who are confident enough to do this! I'm a little creative with my image but wish I didn't care so much what other people thought!? Like, I want dreadlocks again but now i'm a grown woman I will get stereo-typed and judged!. So it's just too much hassle! But I usually say what I want, unless it's going to get me into trouble!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do talk and dress exactly as want to, I don['t even notice other peoples clothes, and everyone thinks they are original, they are not, most people are just average and boring!. There is no weird ,just different type of posers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you must be very young-- people outgrow those attitudes by their 40s!. Well, MOST people do!.

I agree with your first three paragraphs!. Yes I dress in, talk as and do what I want and my student peers called me prof!. I always felt I was very much respected!. People that criticize are probably jealous and don't know why!. Thinking!? I am always doing it but seems like most people do not!. We in America were raised with all means of entertainment and therefore lacking in common sense!. It is easier for someone else to decide how they feel and act!.
