Question: Does labelling something make it more real!?
if day had no name would you separate it from night-- as distinctly as we do!? would you be you without your name!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It makes it more real for the observer!. It allows the brain of the observer to make it a memory by associating a name with the 'whatever'!. By analogy, you can't save a document into a folder on your computer without naming it!. If you don't name it, you can still associate a description of the 'whatever' I suppose!.

I would still be me without my name to me!.!.!.however you might perceive me differently!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

this is a great question!. i have a lot to say about it, but will have to narrow it down!. it would does, to make it simple!. to say i would because of darkness and light is to label this, in itself, as an unintelligent statement of ironic proportions!. also, because of the view i take, which is that our names choose who we are, not the opposite, makes me believe i would be different if i had another name!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We label(name) something and then associate a meaning to this thing(word), by doing so we improve our communication towards other people, i would not need to tell you the meaning(description) of what i was trying to say, instead i would just say a single word associated to the meaning(description) and you would understand, making our conversation easy and simple!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No It simply makes the idea more comprehensible to the human mindWww@QuestionHome@Com
