Many people think of justice as good quality and revenge as a bad quality, but many people find it hard to tell the difference!.

I think that in order to understand revenge and justice, we need to figure out what is meant by each term!.

Revenge is the desire of people to get back at someone!.

Justice means administering a punishment in a fair way!. And it usually implies that the state will carry out the punishment!.

I think that we need to figure out how to help people that are criminals not commit crimes, and I don't feel that causing them pain or death is necessarily the best way to improve society!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.!.!.but a larger number of people, like yourself, are inclined toward the argumentative, and so obscure the subject matter!.

Simply put, revenge presents itself as a possibility in the absence of justice!. A "fine line" or a "between", all such terms of compromise, belong to those who digress, abuse the interpretative, and meddle with superfluous details in order to direct attention from what is primary!.

Those who OUTGROW the need for finding and creating arguments from the superfluous will be capable of examining themselves, concurrent to the primary issue, which is the necessity of living a just (forward-looking) life, and thereby vigorously opposing the more celebrated alternatives that rely so heavily on the interpretive error the "questioner" represents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"We are all walking on a thin, fine tightrope!."
~~~~~
There is indeed a very thin, fine line between revenge and justice!.
A human being must learn to balance and walk on this thin, fine line each and every day within ones life!.
This thin, fine line is known as "Forgiving and forgetting"!.
If one has lost this balance within their life they will fall off of this thin, fine line!.
*footnote - One day all human beings will look justice in the face and realize the power that is responsible for true justice!.
Todays justice is nothing more than arrogant illusion!.
"May we all find balance with our lives!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
No there is a thick line between justice and revenge it's just that we have a tendency to walk over that line in three or four giant leaps from justice to vengeance !.!.!.!. then we call it justice!. We overlook the line and sometimes we don't even consider it!. We blind ourselves to the reality and call vengeance justice when we know in our hearts exactly what it is!. But we go forth in vengeance living in a state of denial!.
There is a thick line between justice and vengeance but most people don't want to see that when it is an inconvenience to themselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Yes,there is!. But the solution our society found to solve that problem was to leave Justice in the hands of the government!. Revenge is some kind of distorted justice,which we do with our own hands!. I think it's mainly driven by personal and very emotional situations,whereas justice is seen as something neutral,that punishes those who act wrong and rewards those who act right!. In the end,I guess the reason why we shouldn't take our revenge is because it's based upon such subjective feelings and momentary impulses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It depends on the individual, what he or she considers justice and what revenge!.
A person who understands the true meaning of those two, can understand the difference and not cross the line from justice to revenge!.
Ex!. If your father is raping you, what can be considered as justice and what as revenge!?
can the person girl or boy, kill the father who did that!? is that justice or revenge!? or let the court decide what justice should be!?
If the court decides to lock the person for 10 years, is that enough!?
There's the personal justice which can cross the line and be revenge and there's the society justice and can be very stupid at many times, depends at the laws!.
I believe all people can understand the difference and that is what make the society better and better though the years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Sure there is!.
But both revenge and justice manage to accomplish a valid thing in life - punishment!. Thiefs, rapists, murderers are people that deserve to be punished!. Whether you call it revenge or justice - it is still something that should be done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
justice should bring some good into the world;otherwise in my opinion it's pointless!.
revenge does not benefit anyone!. the person who seeks revenge does not gain anything, in fact, he/she has sacrificed some of his/her energy; becoming almost altruistic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
yes,look at the death penalty thats more revenge than anything!.You can't bring your loved one back so what justice is that!?Justice will never be fully served either way you do it[life or death]
So at that the line is very fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
The death penalty is societal self-defense and supports the concept of justice if used rationally!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
Of course not, justice aims for societal good while revenge is usually a selfish concept!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
