Even where there is a study that purportedly predicts the effect of cigarette smoking on age, the effect cannot not be reasonably be broken down into a minute by minute analysis!. That is simply not what the study is purporting to measure!. I use the word purport because it is quite a stretch to draw a definitive link between smoking and life expectancy, because there are as many extenuating factors as can be imagined in any such study, which generally rule out any link of causality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com If that's the case, my grandparents who are 87 and 83 and have been smoking for over 60 years, and no signs of quitting would probably live to be in their 120's had they not smoked!.
