If god has knowledge of everything, then our understanding of god is contingent upon his relationship with everything!. Because his relationship with everything is governed by his absolute understanding of it, an understanding of god is contingent upon the absolute understanding of everything!. It is impossible to fully know everything simply because we do not have the time, or synapses, to understand everything!. What we do understand governs our connection with god!. We may not know everything, we know only a small part, and this small part is directly proportional to what we know of god!. It in fact is all of god that we can perceive!. For you to know anything it demands that you have contact with it and through contact, the mind says it knows and develops ideas around that contact!. Understanding is a limit because the mind assume that everything is knowable even GOD but what a person knows of GOD is what he/she reads or projects from their own mind what GOD is!. There is no relationship that can be had with ideas and the thing itself only yourself to the idea!. A person that says you have to pray to know GOD is just projecting their own insecurity!. If you want to experience something you have to come into contact or relationship with that thing but you cannot come into contact with something you do not know!. GOD is an idea and to chase understanding of GOD is to chase the idea of GOD and whatever you know about GOD!. Deep understanding is only deeper understanding of your own ideas!. To answer your question, you cannot know anything really and what is there that we do know in the realm of understanding in science and technology is appearance!. If there is a GOD, you have to have relationship to it to say there is one but if you cannot have deep understanding because thinking is limited and who is to say that GOD is knowable or understandable in the first place!.
