As an atheist I believe that the quality of a person's life is determined by genes, luck and lifestyle!.

You're stuck with the genes you are given, although current research may in due time provide the means to be able to change that!.

Some luck can be improved, some, like genes cannot!. If you are borne to poor parents in Somalia that's really bad luck and it may be impossible to rise above it!. If you are in a car wreck that's bad luck too, but you can improve your chances by driving carefully and sober and by wearing your seat belt

Lifestyle is down to you!. Obviously!. It includes the notion that you should always do your best and then resolve to be satisfied with the outcome!. Shelves and shelves of books have been written on the subject!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
