I found a cool coffee table book called The Great Philosophers, from Socrates to Focault, by Jeremy Stangroom and James Garvey in the Barnes n Noble bargain section- you may find it online (or in your local b & n)!. Its a fairly in-depth look at about 30-40 of the world's most prominent philosophers!.

Agreed with Jack and Sean!. I think, the Communist manifesto is also a good idea as a sprinkle to that cup of ice cream!. For additional flavour, I would suggest Henri Bergson and for a cherry on top add something very light, like O!. Henry, Anton Chekhov or Mikhail Bulgakov (short stories)!. A true Nietzsche student will always appreciate lighter literature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
