Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You'll find a great deal of effort put into justifying the usefulness of faith on pragmatic grounds, but, ultimately faith itself is unwarranted because, by definition, it is the belief in something DESPITE reasonable grounds!. I suggest reading W!.K!. Clifford's The Ethics of Belief, a wonderful essay that makes the argument that to believe anything without good reason to believe (evidence) is a sin against all of mankind because it both fosters intellectual laziness and is potentially fatal if we put trust in the wrong things!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Could ask you the same question!. Faith is the knowledge that one believes in :either in spiritual or human reasoning !. It all depends on what ever you are willing to understand and know and believe!. I think you have to believe in yourself that I can!.
