It's called freewill Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you assume God exists and is good, there are two possibilities I can conceive of!.

1!. God is not omnipotent - he* takes the path of greatest good!.
There can still be "evil" events (e!.g natural disasters) if God is not, in fact, all powerful!. In other words, the path of greatest good is the path of least evil (but there is still some evil since God is not all powerful)!.

2!. "That's not evil, because it's his will"!.
God is omnipotent AND omnibenevolent!. Being all powerful, God cannot be restricted in power by conforming to some higher order of goodness!. Rather, he defines what good is by his very decisions!. Any events under his power (and this includes ALL events besides human will) are necessarily good!. What we think is evil is actually good!. Rejoice in the fact that hurricanes are good!

(*disclamer: In the case that a non-omnibenevolent God or gods exist and offense is taken at a mistaken gender, the pronoun for God may be substituted from he to she, it, them, or everything(!?) as appropriate!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say there is no such thing as evil, just as there is no such thing as good!. Perhaps God, if there is a God, does not judge or create the world according to such subjective terms!. The things that cause what you may call evil, such as crime and sin, are natural parts of this universe and are to be expected in such an ecosystem as the one we live in!. We as humans should strive to prevent these things from occurring, since they are, as far as we're concerned, 'evil', and by evil, all we ultimately mean is a behaviour or action that we consider abhorrent, disgusting and plain wrong!. It is something that goes against the peace and harmony we all hope to attain, but there is no objectivity when it comes to what is evil and what is good; it's all down to what we as a society of humans deem to be productive or counter-productive towards our pursuit of peace and happiness!. God might have no view on such things, he may be a silent observer, impartial to our ways!. If he DOES see certain things as evil, he may feel these are simply a downside of having a free world in which we can move around and make choices!. As I said, in a self-sustaining ecosystem where survival is every individual's priority, there are going to be awful acts committed against one individual by another!. Even a 'good' god cannot change that without taking away our free will and forcing us to be peaceful, happy and perfect!. Why doesn't he do that!? Maybe we're just an experiment, maybe he's testing us, or maybe he's just bored and wants some entertainment!.

Yes, God has a wicked—wickedly funny—sense of humor, and when you get that you understand the nature of polarity!.

There are certain laws of the universe, and they operate in immutable and constant ways!. One of these is the law of polarity—all things manifest with their opposite!. This manifestation does not necessarily occur simultaneously and not necessarily when and how one might want, but inevitably both sides appear!. Love and hate, pride and guilt, passion and anger, Bull and Bear market, all just flipsides of the same coin!. Like a battery functions only when both the positive and negative ends are engaged, so moves the energy of life!. And no, denying it doesn’t make it any less true!.

Well, we love the good stuff; the joy, happiness, wealth, health and prosperity of life!. However we so conveniently forget its opposite comes with it!. It’s a package deal, but why!?

The blessing in experiencing the negative in life is two-fold: 1) there would be no “positive” without its opposite, and 2) there would not be enough contrast for clarity to emerge!. If there were no sadness, how could you know happiness, for what would there be to compare it to!? And if you didn’t get a chance to learn what you don’t want, how could you figure out what you do want!? How could you recognize the dis-ease that is a signal something is out-of-line, off-kilter, or needs to move differently in the system as a whole!?

Ultimately everything, good and bad, is part of the same entirety designed to work in unison!.

without evil one can not address good, can they!? If there was mundane life existing as if by chance like robots we would rise and fall without ever understanding the truth and what the truth means to each and everyone of us differently!. without bad there is no good!. So! In order for us to see good, the maker served up a sandwich of bad!. In order to compare and contrast I'm sure, but still there!Www@QuestionHome@Com

God did not create evil!. He allows free will which means people can choose to do evil things!. As a matter of fact, Adam and Eve were created perfect (God said that His creation was "good") but gave them choice!. They chose to disobey God in the one simple thing He told them not to do (only one!)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Who said God is good!? There is a 50% chance God is evil!.

If you follow your Judeo-Christian mythology, God didn't seem to make anyone evil!. Evil people or angels seem to turn away from good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its called sin!.
everything was good at the begining of the world!.
but then sin came into the picture
so therfore sin is the bad part
and freewill too
which lets you do good or bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
