Question: What good is knowledge if it's not accompanied by wisdom!?
I take a step back and look at the picture, I look at the world in a third person and I see that we have so much knowledge but so little wisdom!.

Take a look at the world like I have, see it in such disarray!? With wisdom it wouldn't be like this! It would be a utopia with the knowledge we have now!

So tell me, what good is knowledge if you can't wield it to it's fullest potential!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wisdom is the ability to make accurate and "better" decisions based on the available knowledge you have currently processed'"Www@QuestionHome@Com

knowledge you learn with school, time and life experiences!.

wisdom is something that you learn by trial and error and living through things, wisdom can be passed down from generation to generation!.
You build knowledge as you go along but you build wisdom after you learn life's lessons!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Knowledge can be sought and learned, wisdom must be earned and achieved!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

One could also ask what good is wisdom without knowledge!.

You think the world is in disarray now!? It is a mistake to think that we live in a unique time in history!. Things could certainly be better, but they could also be much, much worse!. The wars of today are nothing compared to the struggles for our very existence against the Nazis & communists last century!. The economic crisis of today is nothing compared to the much higher unemployment rate and much lower standard of living in the Great Depression!.

Wisdom, or lack of, is a part of human nature!. We are not so removed from the animals as many of us would like to think we are!. Humans are still quite susceptible to being swayed by their beliefs and emotions, and rational thought is still very much the exception rather than the rule!. We would rather be right than correct, so we cling to religions and political ideologies in spite of the chaos, strife and suffering they so plainly cause!. We are insecure, so we cling to nationalism and other forms of "us vs!. them" thinking so that we have one group to feel connected to and another we can focus our more negative emotions on!.

Knowledge is a tool, wisdom is how you use that tool!. That tool is certainly less effective if you don't know how to use it properly, but it's still better than not having it to use at all!. Knowledge has demonstrably made our society & civilization much better, despite our less-than-complete use of wisdom!.

Besides, what most people call wisdom is really just opinion!. There often is no objectively "best way" to use knowledge!. Even in a perfectly rational world, how we use our knowledge depends on our needs, desires and priorities, all of which differ from one person to the next!.
