Perhaps it is also as important to understand why a man would do such!.

One may forbid love because he did not fully understand the same and this lack of understanding has caused great emotional distress in his past!.

One may also forbid love because one knows that his present situation would only cause distress for the one whom he loves and he would spare her such because of his love for her!.

A poor man may fear he could not provide adequately!.

An ill man, who has been told the number of his days (or a reasonable estimate of the same) may well understand that to create an emotional attachment which might end almost as soon as it has begun could be cruel to one whom he loves!.

One must, in certain situations, give up himself and his desires for the benefit of the one whom he loves!.

Perhaps such corrects a karmic wrong and will lead to a blessing in ones next manifestation>

Perhaps love is not being forbidden but actually practiced in a more sincere fashion, in greater concern for the one loved than for the one loving!.

I'm not exactly sure how you go about "forbidding love!." You can try to ban it from your life, but it might have a way of sneaking itself in anyhow!. But, if a man does succeed at forbidding love from his life, he will probably live a life without much love!. Why would you want to do that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
