Yes, I think so!.

Philosophy promotes critical thinking, good reasoning, and better morals and ethics!. It improves everyone's decision making skills!. I suspect that humanity will progress faster as more people learn Philosophy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Logic and simple argument analysis should begin around 6th or 7th grade!.

By the end of high school, students should at least know what some of the major philosophers said as part of their history lessons!. They should also be able to be proficient with simple first-order logic tools such as completing simple logic derivations and constructing truth tables!.

Specific topics and subsets need not be covered (such as Existentialism, Philosophy of Religion, etc!.), but, as a minimum, people should be required to know the ideas that shaped world history and how to properly evaluate claims!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Definitely!. Or at least some form of it!. It could be combined with religious education in some forward-thinking schools!. Perhaps instead of religious education for public schools!.

I wish they would teach it at a younger age than they do now, if that's what you mean!. I don't think it should be relegated to colleges and a very few high schools alone!. I think all high schools should have an option, and as young as 6th graders should have the option of taking it as an elective!. If we can teach them to think at a young age, imagine what they will dream up when they are older!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes, people need to think more about what surrounds them!. In this world schools make humans robots!. There is no critical thinking, no analyzing, no creative thinking!. It is all black and white, 2+2, essays on the economy, history etc!.

If everyone was taught to question their surroundings at a young age and to think outside the box then society would be different!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think critical thinking should be involved with every child's life in every class they take to some degree!.
the people who want more should I have it as a choice in there classes!.

Absolutely, critical thought and all of that is much needed!. However, I doubt some schools could show philosophical ideas without being rigid, which is contrary to critical thinking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Analyzing and creative thinking classes should be mandatory!. Art, Creative writing, drawing, painting, debate!.!.!.any class where you must assess your environment constantly!.
