Being alive today has it's advantages, sure!. So how much of this junk are we expected to swallow!? The whole world is messed up in one way or another!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I find it tragic at best, humanity has always been laughable to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com That's really sad to think that way, but I understand your pessimism!. I think if you look at TV and popular society it seems this way, but not in particular circles!. For instance, for myself, it is my church and family that provide the most inspiration for me, so the fact that I see goodness (and badness sometimes too) in them proves to me that there is hope and something to cherish and be thankful for!. This world is a glimmer of what truly is and unfortunately, some people are too upset and scarred by this world to see some of the beauty in it!. Look at the simpler things in life - the base level - the beauty of nature in the face of pollution, the love of a child in the face of divorce, the perseverance of a sickly person in the face of death!. These things are beautiful because they are contrasted by things that are bad - duality provides the source for hope!. Believe in humanity and try to see the glass half full, not half empty!. Www@QuestionHome@Com People are intrinsically evil/sinful/bad!. What ever you call it, we are not able to do consistent good!. Additionally, we take way too much for granted when immoral subjects or situations occur and are spread among the population under the guise of personal freedom(s)!. However, when did we become so warped and/or weak that we just lie down and accept the immoral/evil philosophy or way of life of someone else (say in a movie/TV production company) and incorporate it into our own understanding and/or beliefes!? In my opinion humanity is as tragic as it (we) wants to be!. We willfully choose our way each day whether it be good or bad!. So if life were an American presidential election, BAD would be the president elect and good would be some alderman somewhere in nowhere America!.Www@QuestionHome@Com No!.
