No !. Not in my case !. I am not a day dreamer , lying in my bed and simply ask for whatever I want , Divine things included!. I firmly believe that anything divine is not outside of me !. But the reflections of such divinity , I find , are all over the place !. The nature , the living things , an innocent baby , soulful music !.!.!. ( the list is long)!.!.!.!. all are reflections of such divinity!. Not by asking but by experiencing these divine reflections I find that I can experience change , healing , inspiration!. How do you use the word "experience"!? If we were to ask would we not afterwards have to experience the thing in our life!? Divine revelation, or healing (etc) might be compared to the Olympics!. Could we go to the Olympics simply by asking!? Yes we could (depending upon who we knew) But would we be in the seats watching or competing upon the field!.!.!.!.and to what purpose would it be to be given a gift and compete and win!? The competitors have given all they have to run the race and win (be it what it may) Spiritual things are the same!. I would think divine revelation leads to divine inspiration which leads to divine change then to divine experience and healing!.!.and it all began with asking, but it IS experienced!. If we do not work it out and make it real in our life what meaning could it possibly have!.
