Good question!. The answer is, we are all in the process of finding out who and what we are!. That is the entire mission in life and in all lives everywhere!. There is no single answer to this question!. You are the one who determines who and what you are, you are the one who gives definition and meaning to yourself!. That is the power that you have, the power to define who you truely are!.!.!.but further, who you will be!. You have the power, all the power, to choose, elect and decide, in each moment of NOW, who it is you will be and what it is you will be!. We are shape shifters, didn't you know!? We morph, we change, we are fluid and dynamic, we become whatever we choose to be!. If you see that YOU are the one who decides!.!.!.you are the one who chooses!.!.!.you are the one who defines!.!.!.then you see, you are empowered and within that empowerment is your ability to unconfuse yourself!. You are confused in life because you have not believed in yourself and the POWER you have within you to define yourself!. You are making a difference, in every moment you live!. You are unique, no one else is exactly like YOU, no one! Each being is different in their sets of traits, behaviors, beliefs, values, talents, intelligence level, personality, drive, understanding!.!.!.and you are so much more than you think you are! Music is beautiful, and that is a wonderful thing to do :) Don't worry about being rejected!. There is always someone else who accepts!. Don't listen to those who tell you that you are not good enough!. Good enough for whom!? Nobody is perfect here on this planet!. THose who criticize you are actually begging for your help!.!.!.because they are not working on their own faults, but instead, are looking at yours!. They would best serve themselves if they paid all their attention ontheir own short comings, which believe you me, is enough, to keep them busy for their entire lifetime!. So they should just pay attention to their own problems, which they already have enough of!. Nobody every knows all of it!. You are musical!. It is a part of who you are!. So sing!. Whenever and wherever you can!. And don't worry about whether or not your singing is good enough, just sing!. Sing in the church choir, do karaoke, sing in the shower!. If you want to sing professionally take steps to make that happen!. Take voice lessons, get a musical tutor, practice, practice, practice!. Now what else is unique to you!? Make a list of things that only you do!. Maybe you bite your nails!. Ok, so you're a nail biting singer then!. Maybe you love the color yellow!. So now you're a yellow wearing, nail biting, singer!. What else!? I know, suppose you're short!. You're a short, yellow wearing, nail biting, singer!. None of these things are good or bad, they just are!. They are parts of a whole person!. Be proud of everything you are because there is no other person on earth like you!. There are many judges in this world, but the only opinion that matters is yours!. If you buy in to what others think of you then you are dooming yourself!. I love to sing too! I've also been told I'm not good enough!. I don't trust people anymore!. I don't care if I'm not good enough for them!. Jesus loves me!. That's all that matters to me!. But I've thought about it a lot, and I really feel as though your career or your interests are not who you are!. What you do does not define who you are!. Who you are defines what you do!. If singing is your passion, don't give up on it!. However, continue to do some soul searching, because I know in my heart that there are many paths that I can take in my life, just as there are many paths available to you!.
