Question: Dyphemism or euphemism!?
In assuming the role of a wartime commander in chief, a president is exercising extraordinary powers, powers that are comfortably granted in a democracy only in the context of a very strong consensus!. Speeches designed to minimize dissent and build unity will necessarily direct their emphasis to the masses!. We are in a fight for our principles, and our first responsibility is to live by them!. I ask for your patience, with the delays and inconveniences that may accompany tighter security; and for your patience in what will be a long struggle!.

I really cant figure this one out, help me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I see it this way:

1- I am the president
2- Democracy (Ironically) in the time of war gives me the authority of a dictator!.
3- The speeches of my administration target the public to reduce their dissatisfaction and to gain their support!.
4- We are in a fight for our principles (economic gain for me and my rich buddies)
5- I am asking for patience (obedience) with my draconian laws, with my invasion of your privacy (tapping your phones and monitoring your private calls) and with my scare mongering tactics!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
