Yes -- a man is product of his past!. While he is divided in himself and in his ignorance and blindness of what he is, does things which he is incapable of seeing, all this is done out of his past -- because he is a slave to it!. So from this perspective, his future will be no different because his past has never been reconciled, thus being in the old he will be subject to more of the same, unless he frees his fractured parts of his personality and body from its addictions and ensnarement's!. So he becomes his own suffering!.

DEFINATELY NOT!.!.!.!!! There is a God that is continually acting independently of us in our behalf!. We have a free will as far as that can be understood by us, but there is more!. If karma was truly in existence then there would be no mercy nor grace!.!.!.all would be instant justice and judgement!. Mercy means recieving something you are not entitled to and do not deserve!.!.!.(inmerited favor) Justice is recieving exactly what is deserved!. The two are opposites!.!.!.yet both serve a purpose!. All must eventually bear the scrutiny of justice and judgement!.!.!.for this is the sway of law!. The Universe runs by laws!.!.!.(for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction) Mercy is an attribute exhibited by God in our behalf that we, BY experience, might recognize a mistake and correct it that we might ultimately bear the scrutiny of justice and not be overwhelmed!.!.!.
