It would be a novel change to actually have an honest person in there, one who thought carefully and deeply and tried to speak the truth rather than the sales persons who will say anything to or about anyone so as to make the sell and get the job!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The way our political system is!? hell no!.

Do I think a philosopher would make a good president!? Defiantly!.
Of course this is all in the details, because not all men could do well in office!.

I would also think, we all have ideals that we would want to achieve!. It would also include giving people hope, speaking candidly and frankly with the public, instead of giving ambiguous answers!.

I think part of the apathy in American politics today is that politicians assume we have a short attention span!. I would pay a hell of a lot more attention to a president who lay out his reasoning for the country before making a major decision!.

And just because you can get ridiculous with philosophy and say that there isn't a country or some stupid crap like that!. It does not mean that there isn't some basis for reality!.

Philosophy is based on our perception of reality, and if a president didn't have a solid base, he would be useless in more ways than one!.

I think neither, they should become advisers or even judges!. It is the quest for knowledge that make philosophers glow!. And just like an artist they must share the fruits of their gift or curse depending on how you wanna look at it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
