Technology always has a good and a bad trade off!.

Even when writing was invented, it had the negative effect of taking away oral tradition!. This does not necessarily make the technology good or bad, but you have to way the pros and cons!.

Computers: getting people addicted to online gambling, or allowing underprivileged to access materials to allow them to learn, like MIT's OpenCoureWare or the Project Gutenberg online library!?

Computers are good as well as bad!. Computers make life easy with many manual and slogging jobs easy and speedier, communication and mails fater and speedier, etc

The Computer has opened up my world and has enabled me to embrace the world outside! I had no idea I could talk to people and make friends all over the world!. A whole new way of life has emerged for me through the internet!.
I find it very stimulating, positive and good!. I am able to "feel" people I cannot see!. I can actually feel their 'spirit!

There are always two sides of a coin!. While technology has enabled us to do things faster, as well as communicate with people across the globe, it has reduced our quality of life too!.
