Question: Is there really such a thing as one fundamental truth!?
What I mean by that is we will sometimes hear someone say "if you can't handle the truth!." OR "That's the truth" OR "The truth is"!.
But what if you don't see it the same way!? Is it more accurate to say "this is MY truth" especially since our point of view is shaped by our own experiences!.
Obviously there are some instances when the truth is clear, i!.e!., it's true that so and so is dead or so and so are getting a divorce!.
But then there are the truths, like "My life sucks because my parents are alcoholics!." and contradicted with "No, you made bad decisions yourself, which is why your life sucks!."
Are they both true!?
So can there be only 1 truth and if you don't see it that way are you wrong!? Or are there different shades of the truth!?

Truly, no there is not one fundamental truth!. But if that were so, wouldn't THAT be the one fundamental truth!? Maybe the "platform" from which fundament is given needs to be determined!. For materialists, atomism is the "fundament" on which reality is built (I don't mean the atom is the smallest particle, just that the atom IS!.) For the idealist, reason is the "fundament!." If you mean can EVERYBODY agree on what is real, well no!. Does that mean nobody is right, and atoms and reason are both bogus!? No, of course not!
It means one has to talk about what one's fundamentals are to HAVE THIS DISCUSSION!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
The concept of truth might possibly be entertained apart from personality, the concept of beauty may exist without personality, but the concept of divine goodness is understandable only in relation to personality!. We can know truth in our own personal experience since we all maintain identity of personality and unity of will in spite of the constant changing of both ourselves and our environment!.

this is a question that ssooo many philosophers have been trying to answer ever since!.!.!.!. well, ever since there have been intelligent humans haha
it all depends on whether or not you believe truth to be objective or subjective
i can't answer for you because i think truth and morality is subjective opinion

No!. Sadly there are actually only three truths!. But this is a secret that has been hidden for many years in the catacombs underneath the vaults of Cambridge University!.
The first truth is "There are no Truths"!.
The second truth is "The first truth is false!."
The third truth is "The second truth is also false!."
