I'd rather be neither!. They both sound very sad!. I was a child of poverty when I was young!. I didn't know it though, until I went to school and the kids made fun of my clothes, hair, shoes, etc!. It was humiliating! I've always dreamed for a much better life!. Not for money!.!.!. just a better life!. I wasn't sure what that was until recently!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Better than being impecunious!.

What gets me is the newspaper columnists who confuse indigent with indigenous!. Even a couple of famous novelists have made this mistake!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would rather be poor, and possibly able to eat, then to have to ask others for anything!. I hate asking anyone for anything that I can get myself, even if it means going hungry for a day or two!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
