I've noticed that when two people are too emotionally attached, they sometimes start to resent each other!. Why does this happen!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Resentment, in the situation that you describe, likely grows out of trying to please someone and without getting a return on that investment!.

Pleasing others can often lead to feelings of resentment as it usually is regarded as one sided!. We typically will do more for someone that we care about than for a stranger!. If that is not reciprocated by the other person, they are likely to become resentful over time!.

I would say it is because of our own expectations!. When it comes to relationships, we are constantly elevating the expectations in our mind!. All we can think about is what we want from that relationship and how wonderful it will be!. It is infatuation I say, and most people mistake it for love!. But it is a selfish love, selfish in that it is almost entirely one sided!. I think because of this, we start to resent each other because the relationship never ends up as wonderful as we subconsciously came to believe it would be!. The saying love is blind is true, but it is more true that infatuation is blind!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think because we tend to believe that when we know each other better, we should know each others' needs without telling one another about it!. now, when i need something and you don't know it, i would feel the animosity!. something like that!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yap as they say , Love comes after a fight , may be cause they don't want to show each other the weakness from inside to each other (do you know what i mean ) every one is trying to hide his feelings and be strong !.!. i think Www@QuestionHome@Com

It could be the fear of being hurt by the person you love/are attached to!. Personally it hurts me more when someone i love hurts me, instead of my enemies hurting me!. It's, i guess, a sort of shield we put in ourselvesWww@QuestionHome@Com

Your premise is wrong!. Animosity is not a given!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
