It doesn't matter!.
Remember the law has nothing to do with good guys and bad guys!. It's not about right and wrong!. It's about the use and interpretation of words within the flexible boundary of the law as it is written and interpreted at the time!.

Attorneys are in a self-disciplining Profession on an "Honor System"!. So really, the determining factor is the personal character and integrity of the individual and how long those qualities can be sustained under tremendous pressure and compromising circumstances!.

Think of Attorneys as athletes!. The judge is a ref!. The courtroom is the field!. The client is the ball!. How far will some individuals go to win!? Have you seen athletes take a cheap shot when the ref isn't looking!? Negotiating out of court is like a pick-up game!. Do you know of people that should never be trusted in a pick-up game because they will not follow the rules and have temper tantrums when they're called on it!. Now, how important is the temporary ball in all that!. It's the stats that are remembered!.

I'm not implying this is limited to lawyers!.This applies to every person in every occupation!. You can't tell who is the good guys by their wardrobe or diplomas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This one would prefer to be honest and work for and towards the same and for justice!.

Be well!.

The justice system in most nations is not just!. Rahter it is a contract system which affords status to those terms agreed uopn by those who are financially well healed so as to maintain and continue the same and their postion in said society!.

A justice system that actually sought to uphold and promote justice would necessarily incoorporate into its processes the seeking of all facts relevant to the case, which would include circumstances of the situation and the individuals involved without the same being twisted, omitted or distorted, as an example and as such is currently practiced!.

Such is not the manner in which law is currently practiced in most nations as this one has personally witnessed such!.

Lawyers buy into said systems for their own material gain and not to promote justice in any sense, manner or fashion and are thereby corrupted by the system they perpetuate and create as by their own actions the continue and promote the corruption of the same!.

This is not lawyer bashing but a statement of existing facts based upon observation!.

Money should never be an issue where justice is concerned!. to have so twisted the system to have made it so points immediately to one of the major problems!.

For the law to be effective in promoting justice, the same must be equally available to all persons regardless of their financial status and such is not currently the case!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Defense , the easy answer is , There but for the grace of God go I !.
when you got your back against the wall and your frightened you lash out , I don't know how you got yourself against the wall but there you are, now what !?
granted some people arent all that worth defending , but it's You and your moral code that will be thinking up there defense , and You and the force that is with you that will help deside their fate , at that point totally out of your hands , but it's the force your in !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why!? I don't see the difference in lying for the prosecution or lying for the defense!. They both lie, alter the truth, and leave out salient points!.
