It is perhaps easier to understand nature through our understanding of the derived word!.!.!.!. natural!. Whatever is not intended deliberately by any or more of us is natural!. Our intentional actions arise from our ego which is the mother of all desires and emotions!.!.!.!.!.!. all other happenings are instinctive or following the laws of nature!. Nature can be defined as the system comprising of everything in the universe which undergo changes either through basic instincts of living beings or through the laws governing all inanimate things (physics, chemistry etc!.) In other words, everything except what is willed and acted by us is the work of nature!.!.!.!.!.!. this includes changes happening within us without our so willing or intending to make them happen!.

Yes, indeed, it is rather tough to define nature!. I hope I have not done badly!Www@QuestionHome@Com

nature is all that which occurs that is not a creation of a mind capable of knowledge, or rather not a creation built by virtue of knowledge!. for example a human being giving birth in the woods, is part of nature, even though a human created a baby!. the baby wasn't built by virtue of knowledge, but by virtue of nature!.

a human being that builds a chair is not nature!.

so you could argue that all apes that build tools, are building technology which is not natural!.

though it is on such a small scale that it does not really affect how nature functions to any significant degree, however human beings that cut down trees by the millions and deplete ressources at an alarming rate does affect nature to a significant degree!.

so basically it has everything to do with intelligence and knowledge and the application of those things!. things of nature do not have these abilities!. i realize that nature produced intelligence on its own, they evolved naturally!. but basically the word nature was created as in opposition to man made things!. it's a division we created and invented!.

like, technically fog is clouds, but low down on earth!. but we name them something different, kind of arbitrarily, but based on observations we make of them and by which we can differentiate them!.

nature/man made, is one such division, technically all is nature, but there is a difference between things produced by intelligence and knowledge and things that aren't!. and we call that nature and man made!. though technically some other animals such as apes are kind of in a gray zone we kind of omit when speaking loosely about the subject!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nature is the life we can not see with human eyes!. Nature is what we find when we meditate on a question that has not been answered satisfactorily, Nature is an open door to learning with gentle winds and kind words to teach our minds about the universe we coexist in!. Nature is our parent!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
