Yes, it would be more considerate!. I'm sure your mom is smart enough to figure out what you are thinking (many moms do) and have the sense to grab the nearest rolling pin to bop you over the head with!

No, if your mother knew that you were going to, she wouldn't be very happy, after your mother dies, its just as bad, because she has worked so hard to raise you, to offer you what she can, and to help you make it in the world, by committing suicide, you are bassically saying she didn't do enough of a job to help you handle life!. so in her honour don't, make her proud ,and hopefully you can make yourself pround too!. I would think it would be a bit less selfish to allow your mother to die thinking you will go on to live a happy life!.
