Question: Do you think a person is totally responsible for his own individual failures!?

I would say YES they are!.

I've ridden the heights of total success for many years and also rode utter failure having been homeless and on the streets 3 times now!.

I'm a geniuse with one of the highest IQ's on Earth I believe and have backed it up with a lot of outstanding acheivements all amounted to very little due to my personal "failures"!.

The fact is!.!. there is no such thing as failure!.!. There is just the media perception of failure!. As long as a human is living and healthy they are sucessful!.!. and the notion of "sucess" usually through material aquisitions is a falicy which humans have all to readily adopted as a benchmark!. in fact every time i was homeless it was because i allowed trusted friends to put me there after they stole from me!.!. to me THEY are the failures because they had to steal and lie to get ahead!.!. i appeared to be the failure!.!. but now i am using those experiences to write 2 maybe three books and i am also producing my first music album which i will take all over europe!.!.

so whilst i was repsonsible for ending on the streets!.!. i was also repsonsible for getting myself off the streets !.!. the time i spent on the streets happened as a consequence of my trust in others and thus was a failure on my part - but only because i trusted the wrong people!.!. THAT was my only failure!.

Some people do fail!.!. those are people who choose to act wrong to garner a self image they like!.!. this is not their failure however!.!. it is society and governments failure!. indivuduals are all born as blank books and society and government tend to fill our minds with what we end with!.!. and i have had ot work very hard myself sometimes not to get mad at many things!.!. sadly!.!. many others lack the education or intelligence and react accordingly!.!. they havnt failed!.!. the system failed them!. Well, I always use logic when I answer philosophy questions!. Failing is an action and a person is not responsible for any of his actions!. Logical Proof: We do all of things that we do strictly because we want!. You can't logically decide a want, and if you want to do something, then you'll inevitably do it, which proves that we're not responsible for any of your actions!. So no a person is not responsible for his failures!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my opinion individual failures are entirely our own responsibility!. Planning and fore thought come into play, giving us the right tools to make the correct choices so we don't fail!. On the other hand failure is also a tool!. So in that respect failure is not always such bad thing as long as we learn from it!. Try to look at the big picture!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no!. some people are born into slavery, into poor neighbourhoods, difficult circumstances!. and that is not their fault!.

we are all human!. our genetics are all quite similar!. we are not as physical different as we think!.

identical twins seem different and end up different in life, but their DNA is exactly the same!.

in the majority of cases, when one would blame another for their failures, if that person doing the blaming were to have been subject to the same circumstances as the person they are blaming they would have ended up failing the same way!.

sure some can overcome great difficulties and achieve success, but what nobody seems to realize is that those people are generally special genetically!. i'm not saying they don't try hard, and that it's all genetics!. but lots of people try hard and fail!.

what i find strange is that lots of people love the idea of the american dream, where anybody can become rich, but a really large number of people that love that idea, and believe they can achieve it, never will because of their genes!.

can anybody be the greatest sumo wrestler!? no you need to be huge!. can anybody sing like pavorotti!? no you need to have the right vocal chords and body shape!.

alot of other things are less obvious how you need good genes to be successful!.

Not totally,no!. None of us are totally free of, or from, outside influences, no matter how much we tell ourselves we're 'free radical thinkers'!. That's the inescapable effect of living on a planet that has millions of years of history and a population approaching 7 billion!. As the man said ; "No man is an island"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To a certain degree!. But I also think that if you take a path that you are not meant to then the universe will interfere and put up a barrier for you to fail so that you will go and do what you were supposed to be doing!.
In other situations I think it may be the result of karma at work!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Let me ask you this:

If you were expected to do a task but some guy pointed a gun at you and told you that if you begin doing what you're supposed to, then he'll kill you!. Would you say it was completely your fault that you failed!?

Obviously that would almost never happen but I believe most people would agree that it wasn't your fault you failed under those circumstances!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. I think sometimes it depends on upbringing and location!. A person has some part in their own life!. I would say a child or a teen for that matter has limited power over their life and are at the hands of adults in their lives!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are no failures and so there is no responsibility for failures!.
Not totally, not partially, not ever!. All is well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not necessarily!. You must first make the assumption that all people are equally capable and have equal potential to begin with!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unless you take responsibility for them fully, you won't correct them fully!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mostly yes, but I do believe there are special cases when a failure is coaxed by someone else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!.
"They themselves are makers of themselves"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't see them as failures, they are just not successful yet : )
