Certainly!. Have you ever noticed people who have had to endure natural disasters bounce back stronger!. Oh, it does not happen immediately, but it does happen!. Or parents who have had a child die for whatever reason, become a champion of a cause surrounding the child's death!. And then there is the parent who through no fault of their own, is unemployed and yet manages to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table(We know unemployment doesn't cover all the expenses)!.
They become stronger because they have to, and they don't even realize it at the time if at all!. These are obvious examples , but there are many smaller ones that happen every day to lots of people!. It's just that people are so involved in themselves to see what is happening around them!. Yes!.

If it doesn't kill you, you'll be able to learn from the experience!.

So even from the perspective that the accumulation of experience can make you stronger, what does not kill you will make you stronger!.

Every moment we survive on this earth, we become stronger!.

Physical wounds can eventually kill you, if you do not take steps to survive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In some cases, this statement seems completely untrue!. Some war veterans experience vivid memories of the suffering they witnessed and experienced in battle for the rest of their lives; I imagine that can make life difficult!. What doesn't kill you may result in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and a general sense of mistrust or even guilt!. Positive experiences reinforce a healthy outlook!. A really serious negative experience can damage healthy, positive perception!.

Some negative experiences may have value!. When a person can honestly laugh at some difficulty after it has passed, that difficulty becomes an affirmation of one's ability to survive and can provide insight and improved resilience!.

However, the statement doesn't hold consistently generalizable truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

After living through things I never thought I could, I have to say yes!. I know that I am emotionally as strong as steel!. I never would have chosen those experiences, and some have pushed me to the brink, but it is also true that God never gives us more than we can handle!. I just sometimes wish He didn't trust me so much!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Only if you take something away from the experience that you can/ will apply to future experiences!. I think you have to really try not to grow/ learn from experiences, but as soon as I say that!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
